Zane Duckworth suffers from Landau Kleffner
Syndrome, a disease that affects the brain with abnormal electrical
brain waves, symptoms of which include seizures, memory loss and and
difficulty with spoken language. In the past six years, Zane has
undergone three brain surgeries and is in need of another. During
his last surgery, doctors separated the halves of his brain, leaving
only a thin connection between them. After Zane's surgeries, the
Duckworth's have found it impossible to find medical insurance that
will cover all the bills. Zane's last surgery cost $90,000.00 for
the operating room and doctor bill alone.......
